It has been a while.

It has been a while since I did anything structured, I wasn’t really sitting on my fat ass really, but nothing in any concerted effort.
The accident last year really got me badly, but that is over now and I started a regular massage appointment and we’re getting the kinks out that I had for years, guess I needed the accident to get past that.
There will be no real training this year, as in, I am not planning on doing any races, but I did join the English Bay TriClub….. So, there should be some training happening once my business trip is over in three weeks…… I am looking forward to it

Run, first time in a while, and it was actually good.
After 7K my really bend back sort of caused some problems, but stretching it out worked nicely and 12K later I found myself back home.
This could be the start of something wonderful.

Back in the Gym

Went climbing, still feeling like crap, I think it’s the aftermath of the concussion. After 30 minutes I was toast and I still haven’t tried out the V10s :/
More weights

Didn’t feel so hot today, mainly because of a lack of sleep, still did 30 minutes of weights and it was actually surprisingly fine.
Guess I have to find some more sleep to feel better / stronger and less “swollen up”.
Running is actually fun

So I went running today, for the first time in a while, 8km in ~35 minutes…. Not too shabby, but it’s getting cold, soon gloves come out again :/

Climbing again today, which was okay, but something is still wrong, felt a bit drained, after 45 minutes in the wall and falling off a couple of times (misjudging distances really doesn’t help) I was done. Underarms on fire and mind drained (okay, it was before that).
I have to declare my love for the new shoes though. They are outright amazing, almost glued to the wall.
Either that, or I am getting better……
Back to weights.

Spent 45 minutes today on weights, bench press (legs up), arms, upper body, pull ups…..
The fun part. I felt decently enough, and definetly better after I was done with it, I think my mind is pretty tired right now and of course the body follows :/
