Amazing

A couple of months ago SixApart (the ones who make MovableType) came out with a really crappy licensing scheme.

At that point in time I decided to walk away from it, I didn’t like the fact that what I was doing was now suddenly going to cost several hundred bucks (US).

One of the suggestions I made to them was to offer an unlimited personal licenense for $100.

So guess what? It seems with the release of 3.1 they decided to do just that.

Too bad that I just switched to WordPress today. I am not really interested in going back there, even though it seems to have some interesting features, but WordPress is at 1.2 right now and they are quickly progressing.

Ahhh, the joy of being caught in the middle.

Advertising admitting to lies?

Well,

not really I would guess. But for the past couple of weeks Coke is peppering us in advertising for their new Coke C2 (review). I am always curious, not so much because I am carb phobic like it seems half of North America is right now (and it seems Europe is close on their heels (or not?)) but because if something gets pushed that hard there must be something interesting behind it.

Now, I cannot drink any of the diet stuff, they use Aspartame and the taste alone makes me wann a gag and I tend to get headaches after drinking this stuff.

At first I had a bit of a hard time finding any C2, and in fact what I saw first was the Pepsi product called “Pepsi Edge” (review).

Pepsi Edge is taste wise tolerable to me, especially as it does not use Aspartame… Unfortunatly Coke C2 does….

So, instead of guzzeling down 2l bottles of Low Carb / Half carb Soda, I guess I rather stick to drinking less of the normal stuff.

Personally, why are we always looking for a magic bullet? Granted, I could stand to loose some percent of Body Fat, but seriously, this is just crazy.
